Where we live

Dear Family and Friends,
Attached are 4 photographs that show our apartment building and living room in central Nairobi, Kenya. I am sending this out with and without the photographs because some of you do not get the photographs. Your server does not accept them and they bounce back.
1. This is a picture from the street of the front gate to our apartment building complex. There are generally 2-3 guards on duty at the gate 24X7 hours. The guards are present to keep those out who are not suppose to be in the apartment complex. You can see the feet of one of the guards under the gate.
2. This picture shows a portion of the apartment building we live in. Our apartment has the window open two flights above the Nissan pick-up truck on the left, slightly above and to the left of the letter D.
3. Photograph - P1000781. This photograph shows the metal gate to our individual apartment. There are two locks on the gate. Once entered the front door is on the left. It also has two locks.
4. A photograph of the front room in our apartment.
Tomorrow we fly to the foot of Kilimanjaro mountain in Tanzania to check on several projects that the Church funds there. Hope all is well with everyone.
Best to you all,
Elder John Udall
P.S. Last week Dean Hansbarger wrote back that he noted that I was not in a bow-tie but a regular tie. Bow-ties are not allowed on an LDS mission. However, my bow-ties are stored for my return in 15 months.
